Goosneck/5th tow dolly... Legal? Functional? Availability?

Put a glad-hand on the fork lift using a ball valve to release the brakes. Remember your forklift is rated at the mast, not out at the end.

In CA you can legally pull doubles and the entire combination can be up to 75ft long as long as each trailer doesn't exceed 28.5ft in length, and the first trailer does not need to be a 5th wheel, provided the combo is being pulled by a tractor-truck.

WEBJun 29, 2012 · 5th wheel trailer is 13k empty, probably 14-15k loaded. Never been weighed that I know of. Need wheels rated for 3900+ pounds each. I think the tire is hitting the shock mount when turning and the wheels scrub in. I will look at moving or modifying the shock mount this weekend to see if it is possible.
