WEBFeb 10, 2021 · Edit: So this is how I just did it: So after the DLC's were purchased I pressed start on FO3 and went to "Manage games and add-ons. Then I pressed start again on FO3 and it brought me to the internal part of the game. I pressed download on all of the DLC's and hit "Save Changes".

Fallout 3 on Xbox One goty disc not loading dlc, starts game.
WEBSep 24, 2018 · Downloaded fallout 3 from disc. Main game works fine. When Iload goty dlc disc, it starts the game as if the main disc is in the xbox. Also, dlc discs bought before goty edition (alaska/pit & broken steel/lookout) do load & show up on xbox one memory storage, but manage game states "bundle only" /won't be recognized by main game.

WEBJun 12, 2020 · Go and shutdown the console (not factory) wait a few minutes and turn on again and if the dlc completed installing. There appears to be part (or all) of the installation file in the queue. I will clear the queue and uninstall the file, but when I shutdown/restart, that file will reappear in the queue.

WEBMar 28, 2019 · If you take a look at the list of Available Backward Compatible games you'll notice that it says Fallout 3. That would mean that the base game itself has been made backwards compatible. This does not apply to all DLC's for all backward compatible games. Its odd that only one of the DLC's is giving you issues.

This means I cannot continue my game as previous saves are dependant on those add ons being available. When I check under Manage Installation, all 5 DLC are installed.

WEBIf you’re using the game disc, try to boot the game with the DLC disc in the drive. The disc only acts as a license for the game/DLC, so if you’re using the game disc, it’s only giving you a license to play the base game, but if you use the DLC disc it will give you the licenses to the DLC and the main game. 2.
