Harman Hopper Design...Pellets not falling in from sides
WEBFeb 3, 2009 · This is not the fault of the pellets, in the case of the Quadra Fire stoves, they have the feed rod right inside the hopper in the center. This is what hangs the pellets up from sliding down properly. I have used wax paper, and have tried smooth metal tape on the seams, etc, etc, and pellets always hang on one side.

WEBNov 28, 2009 · I believe Weyhauser sold the Presto Log name to Lignetics way back 15 years ago. They made the smaller logs and used the Presto name on them. Then I started seeing the Presto name on pellets. They took the name for a long ride so it appears. Weyhauser also sold the log machines to North Idaho for the 8lb logs.

what do you use to separate the ash from the coals?
WEBApr 4, 2008 · Nothing. I shove live coals to the side, shovel out what I can, then pull the coals up front. No need to get every ounce of ash out. On the contrary- many stoves do well to have a little reflective layer of ash on the bottom. Plus- it's a case of diminishing returns, as the last half to cup of ash takes half the time- screw it.
