WEBMar 25, 2019 · I've recently switched to horse pellet bedding for kitty litter (I found it pretty widely recommended). I've been slowly adding more and more to the original Arm&Hammer clumping litter, and my one-year-old seems to be fine with it. But darn if those pellets won't sift through my litter scoop. Has anyone found a practical alternative? Thanks all!

WEBAug 2, 2018 · That's definitely something to steer clear of, but any untreated bedding should be just fine. I think my first choice would be pine pellets, as pine is the most commonly used type of wood for cat litter. Hope this helps. ETA - I've just looked at the Canadian Tractor Supply site, and the McFeeters pellet bedding seems like the best choice.
