Harbor Freight $45 Chainsaw? - Grassroots Motorsports
WEBDWNSHFT HalfDork. 5/24/12 2:16 a.m. I just received a Harbor Freight mailer showing a 14" electric chainsaw for $45. I'm not looking for anything industrial strength but I am tired of using a manual pruning saw for cutting down medium branches on the three trees I own. It won't see a ton of use, it's only $45.

This was before Skil was sold to the Chinese company. But in measured inch/minute and ease of holding your line in wood board cutting the Dewalt premium saw blades out performed everything.

WEB12/8/16 8:10 a.m. I'm planning on buying a set of car dollies to move around a 2500 pound project car occasionally. My garage floor is concrete, in pretty good shape but 70 years old and fairly course. Initially I looked at Harbor Freight and it seems like the new plastic wheels on their dollies are not well liked.

I also picked up a hand crank winch (also on sale) only to find the Gee Dee crank missing when I got it home. Protip: Always open Harbor Freight boxes and check for everything if they aren't taped shut. Probably a good idea if they're taped, too.

WEB5/11/17 2:44 p.m. A good option to explore when looking for a cheap, small trailer is PWC trailers. That's what I used for my micro-camper build. I paid less than what an HF trailer would have cost, but by the time I refurbished it, it cost more... but it was sooooo much nicer than an HF trailer in the end.
