WEBMar 10, 2020 · The Kasco is a no-till drill and the firminator you don't need to cut super deep, and the overall benefit to me is the single pass (hopefully) from till/seed/pack over some of the other systems. I've definitely done my share of throw and mow. I've had really good success is some areas. Other areas not nearly as effective.
Looking for feedback on anyone usng a Woods FPS seeder for plots
WEBDec 19, 2016 · My tractor is a 44hp Kubota, was considering a Woods FPS72- but can find little "real world" feedback of what it's like to actually own and use one. A couple friends are strongly pushing to get a no-till drill, however those are nearly twice as expensive (haven't seen one less that $13k, some almost $18k).

WEBJan 13, 2024 · I have a little 4' Kasco no-till versa-drill. I bought it used for $3K. It had lots of issues and required a hydraulic top-link to work well for me. I hook it to the top-link with a chain. That makes this 3-pt drill "float" like a pull behind. It does not like debris and the planting shoes clog easily.
