To the option of the van tour...we did it once and did not like it at all. We thought it was a waste of precious beach time. There are no longer pineapple plants and all you see is a dirt. The neighborhoods you see on the van tour are run down and not much to see either. I know there is a beautiful night life there and some other beautiful areas, however not sure how you do a trip there for evening enjoyment and other sight seeing.
