Zoo is huge, but not well signposted relative to other international zoos. On a hot sunny day we went to enjoy the splash park, which was to be honest quite underwhelming. Kids were covered in sand… Full review by Kunal K

2 Polar bears (mother and baby!), elephants, wild pigs, horses, rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, a petting zoo, plus many more! A great place to spend a sunny afternoon.
Has anyone done the "date an animal" (20 minute visit with an animal)? It's the same price for a single person as it is for a group of 5, so I'd just like more details about how fulfilling the 20 minutes is. Thanks in advance for any info!

Would it be fine to go to this Tierpark early next January? Would it still be feasible to walk around or would it be too cold? And will it still be possible to see the animals? I am still uncertain whether to visit this Tierpark of the zoo in the middle of Berlin, or none at all.
