New England Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo told the media on Monday that dropping offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt as offensive play caller is “not under consideration,” despite their slow start on offense and a 1-4 record through five games.

The Patriots' offense has several critical issues, but Alex Van Pelt's play-calling isn't helping things over the last few weeks.
