Pilot Seuk Kim, 49, from Springfield, Virginia, died in a November 24 plane crash near Albany, New York. Kim was bringing three dogs from a high-risk shelter to a no-kill shelter in New York’s Schoharie County for a second chance at life when his plane went down.

"We feel a responsibility to continue what he started,” said the daughter of pilot Seuk Kim, who was killed on Nov. 24

Seuk Kim, 49, was a pilot, animal rescuer and father of three. He began flying during the pandemic and, having a passion for animals, he started rescuing dogs.
