According to the sheriff’s office, 35-year-old Bradley Lindsey was allegedly walking down the street when he told a neighbor to, “call the police if they heard gunshots,” then walked into a home. The neighbor, concerned by what she was told, immediately called 9-1-1.

A 35-year-old man is accused of attempting to murder a Kittredge resident with a hatchet on Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reported Thursday.

Deputies found Bradley Lindsey, 35, covered in blood along with a wounded man whom investigators believe Lindsey attacked with a hatchet.
