The shooting death of 7-year-old Breon Allen Jr. in late January has direct ties to an ongoing feud between rival Jacksonville gangs who are also involved in making rap music, according to the arrest warrants of the four men now facing charges in his death.

Investigators said the four suspects in Breon Allen's murder were involved with the criminal gang 6 Block. This is the same gang that Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio was involved with before his murder.

"This is just the first round of arrests we will make in bringing Breon’s family the justice they deserve," the sheriff's office said.
