TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— In spite of the adversity faced over the last few days, and at points throughout Kalen DeBoer's first season at the helm, the No. 13 Alabama football team secured a winning record in SEC games and an undefeated home record with a 28-14 win over Auburn in the Iron Bowl.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— Auburn fell to No. 13 Alabama 28-14 on the road in the 89th Iron Bowl on Saturday evening. Following the game's conclusion, Tigers head coach Hugh Freeze spoke about his team's performance during the postgame press conference.

Here are three takeaways from Auburn’s Iron Bowl loss. Auburn found offensive success early and often against Alabama. In the first half alone, it had drives of 52, 56 and 72 yards, but only got points on one of those drives and it came in the way of a 37-yard field goal.

Social media has had a field day with the Iron Bowl, especially the fights and officiating. Alabama dominated Auburn, though, as has become a custom when the matchup takes place in Tuscaloosa.
