On Monday at 2:16 a.m. a flood watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. for Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington and Cumberland counties.

Heavy showers and thunderstorms may cause flash flooding later today for areas along and east of interstate 95.
