Georgia's ruling party said on Thursday that the country would suspend talks on European Union accession until 2028, while also refusing budgetary grants from Brussels, after what it said was a "cascade of insults" by the bloc.

Georgia’s government said it won’t enter into talks on joining the European Union for four years, in a move that deepens questions over the future path of the Black Sea nation.
