The I.C.C. rejected Israel’s challenges to its jurisdiction and also issued a warrant for a top Hamas official. Its chief prosecutor is seeking the arrests for war crimes in Israel and Gaza.

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and a senior Hamas official, accusing them of war crimes during and after the October 7 attacks on Israel last year.

The warrants put Benjamin Netanyahu, Yoav Gallant and Mohammed Deif at risk of being arrested if they enter one of the ICC’s member nations.
