On Monday, the league announced that Peppers was removed from the NFL’s Commissioner Exempt List, which he was placed on after being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation or suffocation, possession of a Class B drug (cocaine), and assault and battery on a family or household member.

When news broke that Jabrill Peppers was officially removed from the Commissioners Exempt List six weeks after he was charged with domestic violence and possession back in October, it placed the New England Patriots in a gray area.
