The Illinois governor hit back at the president's threats of deploying National Guard troops to the city in a forceful speech.

Pritzker spoke at a press conference in response to Trump saying that Chicago will likely be the next target of his efforts.

Flanked by Illinois Democrats, community advocates, business leaders and clergy, Gov. JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson were unified in voicing that federal troops are not welcome or needed in Chicago.
