Kyle Schwarber extends the Phillies' lead to 2-0 with a home run to right-center field in the bottom of the 7th inning
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Former Indiana catcher Kyle Schwarber has had his best seasons of his now-11-year Major League Baseball career with the Philadelphia Phillies. It appears Schwarber is keen on continuing his success.
Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber was certainly a difference-maker in the team's latest contest against the Rockies. During the bottom of the seventh inning of the game, the 11-year veteran hit a clutch home run that gave the Phillies a 2-0 lead.
Not to be upstaged, one at bat later Kyle Schwarber broke open the game with his third homer of the year. He is on a tear to start the season and doesn't look like he needs a torpedo bat (or maybe he'll hit more homers if he uses one?).
