When Larry Henderson graduated from Mariemont High School in 1985, he had already enlisted in the Marines. Henderson, who grew up in Terrace Park, was continuing a family tradition. His father served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.

Henderson retired from the sheriff's office in December after 33 years of service. He worked in several specialized units, including as an academy instructor, dive team member, bomb squad officer, FBI task force officer and more.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has announced the route for two funeral processions for Deputy Larry Henderson who was killed on May 2.
