Malik Nabers said calling the New York Giants “soft” after Sunday's embarrassing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a mistake, although the star rookie receiver still plans to speak out when he thinks it's necessary.

While the Giants didn't show much fire on the field during Sunday's 30-7 loss to the Buccaneers, there was plenty of it during their postgame media availability, especially when it came to defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and rookie wideout Malik Nabers.

Nabers, a rookie receiver, said that coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen both have discussed the comments with him since Sunday.
