Curt Miller is leaving as coach of the L.A. Sparks after the WNBA side missed the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season and second under him.

The Sparks mutually parted ways with Curt Miller, who had coached the franchise for the past two seasons, the team announced Tuesday. Miller had ostensibly been brought in to preside over a rebuild as the organization was fairly bereft of assets and talent after a disastrous general managerial stretch under Derek Fisher.
