Losers of six consecutive games, Terry Smith’s Nittany Lions have now won two in a row by a combined score of 65-20. Michigan State was roughed up by Penn State 28-10 in East Lansing two weeks ago. Nebraska, coached by former Penn State player Matt Rhule, was drubbed 37-10 by the Lions on Senior Night on Saturday.

Penn State interim head coach Terry Smith hugged his family tight as they shouted in celebration. He got hugs from coaches as players like Zion Tracy and King Mack ran around the field with pieces of paper saying “Hire Terry Smith” pointed at every camera they could find.
