Sinners” towered over the box office again, scoring a mighty $45 million in its second weekend of release. Ticket sales declined a mere 6% from its $48 million start, making “Sinners” the rare film with a sophomore outing that nearly matched its debut.

That's not to say that Ben Affleck's 'Accountant' sequel and the 'Star Wars: Episode III' rerelease aren't also feeding the box office boom, with overall revenue up more than 100 percent over last year.

Revenge of the Sith, previously released in US theaters on May 19, 2005, was re-released in select theaters on April 25, 2025. This was done to commemorate the film's 20th anniversary.
