Baikonur launch pad damaged after Russian Soyuz take off
A Russian Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft with two Russian cosmonauts and one NASA astronaut on board successfully docked with the International Space Station on Thursday (7), Russian space agency Roscosmos said.
A Soyuz spacecraft delivered two Russian cosmonauts and one American astronaut to the International Space Station Nov. 27 for an eight-month stay.
The launch pad at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan was damaged after the Soyuz MS-28 mission lifted off. A Russian Soyuz spacecraft carrying two cosmonauts and a NASA astronaut successfully docked with the International Space Station on Thursday, despite damage to the launch pad in Kazakhstan during liftoff.
