The Treasure will begin regular seven-day sailings from Port Canaveral on Dec. 21. with seven-day voyages to eastern and western Caribbean

PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. — Something new is arriving on Tuesday in Port Canaveral. The newly built Disney Treasure cruise ship will sail into the port around 6 a.m. The Disney Treasure is the 6th ship in Disney Cruise Line’s fleet. Before arriving in Florida, the Disney Treasure was diverted on a rescue mission.

A new Disney cruise ship became a rescue ship as its crew members rescued four people aboard a catamaran in the Atlantic. The cruise ship, the Disney Treasure, was headed to Florida when it got the call to rescue the disabled vessel.
