India and China agreed on Tuesday to resume direct flights and step up trade and investment flows as the neighbours rebuild ties damaged by a 2020 border clash.

China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi and India’s Jaishankar met in New Delhi to respond to President Trump’s sweeping tariffs, with Wang calling them “overwhelming bullying.” Amid rising U.S. pressure, both nations reaffirmed their resolve to rebuild bilateral cooperation.

India has reacted to the Chinese medias claim saying that there is no change in New Delhis position on Taiwan. Chinese state media has claimed New Delhis affirmation on Taiwan being a part of China.
