Fresh off a 23-13 win over Miami (Ohio) in the MAC championship game, the Broncos have reportedly signed coach Lance Taylor to a new five-year contract per ESPN's Pete Thamel on Monday, Dec. 8. According to Thamel, Taylor's new pay bump will put him "near the top of the MAC in salary."
Lance Taylor led the Broncos to a 9-4 season, with a bowl game to come, in his third year as head coach at Western Michigan.

Fresh off winning the 2025 MAC Championship in his third season at the helm, Western Michigan head coach Lance Taylor agreed to a five-year contract extension Monday that will keep him with the Broncos through the 2030 season.
