The Lynx's Napheesa Collier, an early frontrunner for WNBA MVP, was named one of the captains for the league's All-Star Game.

WNBA All-Star Game starters were announced Monday and three of Dawn Staley and South Carolina’s former players made the list. That mark is tied for the most players from one program. Allisha Gray, A’ja Wilson and Aliyah Boston will all start in the All-Star Game on July 19 in Indianapolis.

WNBA All-Star Game starters are locked in, with rookie Paige Bueckers joining Caitlin Clark and A’ja Wilson on the star-studded list.

The 2025 WNBA Commissioner's Cup features a $500,000 prize pool for the winning team. All players on the roster will receive a portion of that money, while the MVP of the championship game will receive an additional $5,000.

Despite being without star Caitlin Clark and playing the league's first-place team on its home court, the 10.5-point underdog Fever defeated the Lynx 74-59 to win the WNBA Commissioner's Cup.

The Minnesota Lynx were bested by the Indiana Fever in the Commissioner's Cup. However, that loss may be a good thing in the long run.
