Chinese nuclear submarine sank pier-side in Wuhan, U.S. says
WASHINGTON -- A Chinese nuclear-powered submarine sank at a shipyard near Wuhan this year, a Pentagon spokesperson said on Thursday. "We can confirm that the submarine sank pier-side. It is unclear if it was carrying nuclear fuel at the time," the spokesperson told Nikkei Asia.
