Valentino Garavani, the Italian couturier, spent nearly 50 years creating iconic gowns for the world’s most stylish women.

Gwyneth Paltrow has remembered legendary Italian fashion designer Valentino, who died on Monday aged 93.

His foundation took to Instagram to confirm the tragic news following his passing at his home in Rome, before announcing his body would lay in state ahead of Friday's funeral.
