Spagnuolo and Locksley increased the Jets' ever-growing list of coaching candidates to seven, joining Mike Vrabel, Ron Rivera, Rex Ryan, Matt Nagy, and Aaron Glenn.

Nagy, 46, went 34-33 (including playoffs) with the Chicago Bears from 2018-21. Among the last four Bears head coaches, he’s the only one to post a winning record.

According to two separate reports this week, the Chiefs have received requests from the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders to interview Spagnuolo for their head coach vacancies, which could leave Kansas City in need of a new defensive mastermind.
