Eric Clapton cut a recent show short after a concertgoer threw an object that hit the rocker. The iconic musician ended his concert at Movistar Arena in Madrid on Thursday after the object, which appeared to be a vinyl record, struck Clapton in the chest as he finished performing his 1977 hit “Cocaine,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
It was Clapton’s first appearance in the city in 25 years, according to Entertainment Tonight. The 81-year-old had just finished performed his 1977 hit “Cocaine” and was heading backstage when someone in the audience threw what appears to be a vinyl record at him.
