Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket was scheduled for launch on Sunday (Nov. 9) but it has been delayed until Wednesday (Nov. 12) due to poor weather conditions. The launch will be the first big test for the rocket’s first NASA mission, and a statement of intent for the company’s founder Jeff Bezos against competitor SpaceX.
Fresh photographs taken by British astronomers show ATLAS sporting two gigantic jets: a 620,000-mile “anti-tail” pointed toward the Sun and a 1.8-million-mile trail shooting the opposite way.

Comet Lemmon lights up the sky over Spain | Space photo of the day for Nov. 11, 2025
Comet Lemmon, or C/2025 A6, was discovered by the Arizona-based Mount Lemmon Survey, which observed it as an almost asteroid‐like object; it was later re-classified as a comet once coma and tail features became evident.
I/ATLAS is a comet, not an alien, according to many experts, though some celebrities, and even one Harvard professor, have questions about the interstellar object.
Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb joins "Elizabeth Vargas Reports" to discuss the comet 3I/ATLAS losing an extreme amount of mass as it makes its closest approach to Earth. #comet #3IATLAS #space

Comet Lemmon photos are plagued by satellite streaks. Here's how amateur astronomers face the problem
Astrophotographers combat satellite streaks by capturing a multitude of short exposures over the course of a single session. The images are then combined and subjected to an algorithm that determines a median value for each pixel before rejecting outlier pixels with values that exceed set parameters.
