Hungary cracks down on BYD plant over forced labor allegations
Weeks after The World first reported on allegations of forced labor at BYD's new car factory in Hungary, authorities are cracking down on the car maker. Three companies associated with the Chinese EV giant's plant in Hungary have been sanctioned — and Hungary has launched an environmental investigation into the site.
