Traffic backups along Interstate 77 in Wythe County are improving. According to Virginia 511, traffic backups in the northbound lanes near mile marker 26 are now one mile.

PARKERSBURG — The ramp on Interstate 77 at W.Va. 47 southbound will be closed around the clock through Aug. 11 for a concrete curb replacement, the Division of Highways said.
