The Philadelphia Eagles received big news on Thursday as offensive lineman Lane Johnson revealed that he is returning to the team for the 2026 season. Johnson told Eagles beat writer Jeff McLane of his decision.
Tre' Johnson, a former NFL lineman who earned one Pro Bowl selection, died over the weekend during a family trip, his wife said Sunday. He was 54.
A standout guard, Johnson starred at Temple before being drafted by the Washington franchise with the 31st overall pick in the 1994 NFL draft. He remained with the team through 2000, earning his lone career Pro Bowl selection and second-team All-Pro honors in 1999.
