Lionel Richie nearly had an unwelcome visitor at his Beverly Hills mansion after a suspected thief tried to break into the property.

Lionel Richie's residence was hit by burglars while the music icon was inside his home. The 76-year-old All Night Long performer had to deal with a trespasser at his Beverly Hills estate shortly after midnight on Saturday morning.
