Adrian Grenier made a choice that few expected from a Hollywood star. He stepped back from Hollywood in favor of a quieter, more grounded life in rural Texas.

In 2020, Grenier left Hollywood to move to Bastrop, Texas, where he founded Kintsugi Ranch with Roemmele. Though he had been an active environmentalist for years, the actor told PEOPLE he purchased the 46-acre property to become “a greater steward every day in practice as a lifestyle, not just as an idea.”

The 2006 movie is based on the book of the same name and follows Andy Sachs (Hathaway) a recent college graduate, working as an assistant for Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief of fashion magazine, Runway. Nate (Grenier), complains about her demanding schedule and is often critical of her working in fashion. That leads them to break up.
