Ahead of Hurricane Helene's landfall, Jacksonville International Airport remains open but has experienced some delays. Passengers are encouraged to check their flight status before leaving for the airport.

In preparation for Hurricane Helene, here's what to expect for flights cancellations, closures and delays at Florida airports. Orlando International Airport (MCO): Open and operational, but may have delays or cancellations.

Delta has canceled all Thursday flights at the Dothan Regional Airport. Officials say Delta has also canceled the 6:00 a.m. departure on Friday. Friday’s mid-afternoon flights and 9:00 p.m. arrival have not been affected and will still run.
