Arsenal are staring down the barrel of a difficult road to the 2025 Champions League final, featuring a few of the best clubs in the world. The Gunners wrapped up their impressive Champions League league phase campaign with a 1–2 victory over Girona to finish third in the standings.

The draw for the Champions League last 16 is complete with the tie of the round pitting Premier League leaders Liverpool against French champions Paris Saint-Germain. Holders Real Madrid face city rivals Atletico while the top two in the Bundesliga meet. By comparison, the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona have been handed favourable draws.

The path to the Champions League final is now mapped out, and none of the heavyweights has an easy round-of-16 as they bid to be in Munich on May 31.
