Miami-Dade police officer Danny Torres (right, with neck tattoos) has been placed on administrative leave following an incident during a traffic stop of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Danny Torres is the Miami-Dade police officer moved to administrative duty after Tyreek Hill's detainment. He has asked to return to active duty.

Miami-Dade Officer Danny Torres, who has a 27-year tenure, is the only officer currently placed on administrative leave after the incident. Hill also repeated his call for Torres to be fired.

"Officer Danny Torres, 27-year tenure, remains in administrative duties, as the Internal Affairs investigation is still ongoing," the Miami-Dade Police said in a statement.
