Davis Fire in Reno now 92% contained Tuesday after fire burned over 5,800 acres, TMFR says
Containment moved to 92% as of Tuesday morning, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue said in a release. No active suppression or mop-up is occurring at this time, TMFR said. Fire personnel is currently patrolling fire activity and repairing affected areas.
Davis Fire at 76% contained, having burned about 6,000 acres
Fire crews have made progress in containing the Davis Fire along Davis Creek Road and the Joy Lake area. More than 700 personnel are on the scene. “Crews on the Davis Fire had another successful day working on increasing containment,” officials said in a media statement.
