Melbourne teenager Holly Bowles has died in hospital, surrounded by her family, after falling victim to a mass methanol poisoning in Laos.

The death of Melbourne teenager Holly Bowles from a mass methanol poisoning incident in Laos has taken the death toll to six.She died after being on life support in a Bangkok hospital, a day after friend Bianca Jones died from consuming tainted drinks.

Following the news of her tragic passing, the owner of Frank’s, a Melbourne café where Bowles had worked for more than two years while saving up for her adventure of a lifetime with Jones, paid tribute to the young woman they had “taken under their wing”.
