NBA guard Malik Beasley is no longer a federal gambling probe target, his attorney told NJ Advance Media on Friday. The development opens up the possibility Beasley could sign in free agency - with the Knicks reportedly among the teams to have done background work on the former Florida State guard.

Former Milwaukee Bucks guard Malik Beasley is no longer the target of a federal gambling investigation, his attorneys told m ultiple outlets on Aug. 22. It was reported in late June that Beasley was under investigation for gambling on NBA games while he played for the Bucks during the 2023-24 season.

Federal investigators no longer consider NBA free agent Malik Beasley a target in their gambling probe, Beasley's attorneys told ESPN.
