Victoria G. Lee was shot and killed by Officer Tony Pickens Jr. on July 28, 2024, after officers responded to a 911 call from Lee’s brother, who reported she was experiencing a mental health crisis at their apartment in The Pinnacle complex on Main Street.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call of a man armed with a rifle in the area of Spence and Eighth streets.

The investigation by the Connecticut Office of Inspector General found that police tried to convince the man to surrender and used foam bullets prior to the fatal shooting.

FLINT, MI – A 27-year-old Flint man has died from injuries sustained in a June 29 shooting. The man was shot in the area of Dana Lane near Woodlin Drive in Flint, according to a news release from Michigan State Police. He was originally listed in critical condition but died from his injuries a few days after the shooting, police said.

Vinyard was a bystander at the scene on Nov. 6, 2022, when he approached an officer about potential evidence. Hawk, who was off-duty and not in uniform, confronted Vinyard and pulled him away from the officer, according to a statement from Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday.
