The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree has arrived in New York City, signaling the start of the holiday season in the Big Apple.

The tree will be decorated over the next few weeks with more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and crowned with a Swarovski star before the tree lighting ceremony.

This year’s Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree arrived at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City on Saturday morning and was hoisted into its place for the holiday season ahead of next month’s tree lighting.
