Actress Shalini Pandey has officially joined the cast of Dhanush’s upcoming directorial venture, Idli Kadai. The talented actreaa has already begun shooting for the film in Hyderabad, marking her return to Tamil cinema after a notable hiatus.

Shalini Pandey stands as one of the most versatile and promising actors of Indian Cinema. Right from her debut film ‘Arjun Reddy’ to the recently released ‘Maharaj’, the actress has proved her caliber by taking on diverse roles which push her as an actor.

It is being produced by Aakash Baskaran of Dawn Pictures in collaboration with Dhanush's banner Wunderbar Films. In addition to Idli Kadai, Pandey is also set to appear in Excel Entertainment's Dabba Cartel and Bandwaale.

Shalini makes a comeback in Tamil cinema with the film directed by Dhanush. The actress has already started shooting for the film in Hyderabad.
