LOS ANGELES — The San Jose Sharks selected goalie Joshua Ravensbergen with the 30th overall selection at the NHL Draft on Friday at the Peacock Theater. The Sharks acquired the first-round pick from Dallas as part of a February trade that sent forward Mikael Granlund and defenseman Cody Ceci to the Stars.

Dmitry Orlov is heading to the spend-happy San Jose Sharks, who have been active in NHL free agency and made a pickup off the waiver wire Thursday to reach the salary floor. Orlov, who turns 34 later this month,
