The Seattle Mariners lost on Tuesday to the New York Yankees and in that defeat, Victor Robles attempted one of the most asinine plays of the entire season.

Victor Robles said he regretted his failed steal of home with the bases loaded in the first inning of the Mariners’ eventual loss to the Yankees.

Victor Robles led off the bottom of the first inning for the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night. He was immediately hit in the hand on the very first pitch he saw. A few batters later he found himself standing on third base.
